Israeli Identity Through Literature
Presented by Dr Tamara Levine
The development of Israeli literature reflects in many ways the history of the State of Israel. This course will explore short stories by great authors like Amos Oz, AB Yehoshua and Yehuda Amichai, consider the contributions of women writers, and examine powerful themes which appear across Israeli literature.

Iran: Opportunities & Threats
Moderated by Peter Wertheim
Perhaps the greatest threat to world peace, and certainly to Israel’s physical security, Iran is a paradox. An ancient and noble civilization which once was home to a thriving Jewish community, today Iran is governed by extremists. This course will seek to unravel and deepen our understanding of some of the complexities of this volatile and powerful country.
