Steve Israel

Steve Israel is regarded as one of Israel’s pre-eminent educators, in both formal and informal education. A Masters in Jewish History from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Steve works for the education department of the World Zionist Organisation amongst numerous other organisations, including as a teacher on Machon L'Madrichei Chutz La'Aretz (Institute for Leaders from Abroad) and as a former Melton Israel Seminar tour educator. Steve was born in England, immigrated to Israel in 1975 and now resides in Jerusalem.

He will be visiting scholar at Encounters@Shalom in November 2010.
